Here's an article from 2013 about the sort of payment Mr Jeremy Clarkson receives after every show. To most people, such amount would seem costly but, for someone as popular as Clarkson it would be normal. I am very interested in having a presenter for my show with the same characteristics as Jeremy Clarkson because it can interest a wider range of audience for my show. Mr Clarkson is like Marmite because you either like/love him or hate him.
What does this tell us about the nature/popularity of Clarkson as a presenter? Since he is someone who very much divides opinion, how will you use the characteristics that he displays to inform the behaviour and conduct of the people in your own broadcast?
